The popskiet gallery and archive originated in 2006. I am a novice photographer, photography gives me the opportunity to engage intimately with a subject or place. The current body of ongoing work is titled The Beast, it is a metaphor for the apocalyptic Johannesburg urban landscape. It is a story of comparisons, silent dialogues between strangers, economic driven movement with whimsical shadow play.
